MagicInk is an independent browser extension built and published by Bow / Potter Service. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, MagicInk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the websites on which users choose to create highlights or notes.

Webpage text, images, trademarks, and other content belong to their respective owners. MagicInk provides tools that allow a user to privately annotate or reference webpage content and does not claim ownership of that underlying third-party content.

Third-party websites can edit, move, remove, redesign, or restrict their content at any time. Because of this, MagicInk cannot guarantee that an old highlight will always reappear, remain visually identical, or be found by the Jump to Highlight feature.

MagicInk may contain bugs, incomplete features, compatibility limitations, or unexpected behavior, particularly while the project is under active development. Features should not be relied upon as the only record of important information.

Locally stored browser data can be lost through browser resets, extension removal, profile changes, storage corruption, device failure, or other events. Users should export or otherwise back up information that they cannot afford to lose.

MagicInk does not verify the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of notes created by users. A user's notes and interpretation of third-party material are their own responsibility.

MagicInk is a general-purpose annotation and note-taking tool. Information found on webpages or saved through MagicInk should not automatically be treated as legal, medical, financial, safety, or other professional advice.

Compatibility may vary by browser, webpage, browser security policy, extension permissions, or future browser updates. MagicInk does not guarantee uninterrupted access or compatibility with every website.

You are responsible for deciding what information to highlight, save, export, or rely upon and for complying with applicable laws and third-party website terms.
