Questions about MagicInk.

Can I download MagicInk yet?

Yes. The current development build can be downloaded directly from the MagicInk website and manually loaded into Chrome or Edge. A Chrome Web Store release is planned later.

Will MagicInk be free?

Yes. The project is being built to be free to use without requiring a membership.

Do I need an account?

No MagicInk account is required in the current design.

What does Alt + highlight do?

Holding Alt while selecting text is the fast workflow for creating the highlight and opening its note editor immediately.

Can MagicInk find a highlight after the page changes?

It stores the selected text and surrounding context so it can attempt to locate the passage again after modest changes. Large content changes can still prevent perfect restoration.

Will the source code be on GitHub?

The project Git repository is planned to be published or updated later, after the final finishing touches are complete.

Who created MagicInk?

MagicInk is built and published by Bow at PotterService.com. The original idea was suggested by GirlStudyingInKorea on Reddit.
